Overview
UK Online was founded in 1994 and provides one of the fastest UK home broadband speeds up to 22Mb. They are part of the Easynet group who are the UK leaders in Local Loop Unbundling (LLU).
UK online install their own equipment at your local telephone exchange and connect your copper telephone line directly to it. There own equipment enables them to offer broadband speeds up to 22Mb independent of British Telecom.
Their broadband packages start with a 1Mb connection at only £9.99. All packages offer an unlimited download which makes it ideal for downloading music and video and using high bandwidth applications such as Joost.
